From Plaza del Pi to Plaza Sant Jaume... Barri Gotic walk : A walk through the oldest part of the city, where Barcelona was founded by the Romans. The walk starts at Plaza del Pi, one of the most beautiful squares in the city, it then explores the vicinity of the Cathedral, with its medieval cloisters and old city walls. There is an optional detour to see a Roman temple, followed by a walk to the Palau Reial Major and Museu Frederic Mares. From Plaza del Rei to Plaza Sant Jaume, you’ll experience the powerful heart of Gothic, Roman and present-day Barcelona. This tour takes around 2 and a half hours to walk but you walk at your own pace stopping where you want.
